QUICK! GOING ON VACATION

We are going a a 2 day vacation... I am worried about my tanks, the goby died today, and ammonia was at 0.50... so I did a WC
Nitrite and nitrare were 0 too

My main question is, do I leave the lights on in my SW tank?
I dont want there to be a bunch of algae when I get back, but I dont want my zoo to die....

If nobody can answer within 5 min, then I am leaving the lights on...

Were back!

Yup :D

1st day:

Started out at 11:00 in the morning... ate brunch at a resturant and started the looong drive

Drove for 10 hours.... it was 12:00pm till we found a decent looking hotel with rooms

2nd day

Went to an iron mine... I HATED it... boring and cold done there...sheesh
Ate lunch, then we all got "sick".... lol
Drove for 3 hours to find a hotel at about 6:00 pm

The hotel was AWESOME!!!!!!!!
It had a computer, HUGE pool with indoor water fall, and the only room they had left was a suite...:grinyes: that was great :D
Me and my bro had our own TV!! lol
We swam, and stayed there the rest of the evening... I didnt feel like driving anymore :D
Then, we ordered pizza to our room... at 10:00 :D

3rd day
Well, after dring an energy drink, I finally fell asleep at around 1:00 am
My mom woke me up to tell me the alarm in my room was going off... I didnt even hear it!
So, I went back to sleep and my mom woke up to tell me she and my dad were getting breakfest... and they would bring us up some...
Well, it was 9:00, and so I went down to the breakfest room to meet mom and dad...
I had a bagel, yogurt and hot chocolate :D
Anyhoo... went swimming for about 30min and then got ready for (my favorite part)
A 3 hour boat cruise to see the rock formations (sp?) :rolleyes:
I took over 100 pics there...
Then, we drove for about 3 hours to go to a wildlife thingy... that was OK, I took a bunch of pics :D

Then, we went to one of the local waterfalls and I took tons of pics and vids too... (I dicovered a different setting on my camera that takes great closeups)

Then, we ate lunch/supper and went to a gas station to get my dad some coffee, snacks and drinks (I got some too... no coffee though :D)
So, we were all snacking on skittels, combos and candy bars :D
Then, I took one last pic, and 2 more vids, and off we went!

Well, it was 6:00 by the time we left, and we were planning on getting home at around 1:00..ok, not to bad

uh-huh

12:00 came and passed... and at 1:00 we were only half way home... so we stopped and got my dad more coffee (he was going to fall asleep :D)
2:00 came ad went... 3:00...

Anyhoo... by the time we got home, it was 4:00 in the m..o..r..n..i..n..g

All the fish are OK, all the pets are OK... everything was fine
I went straight to bed (I really wanted to test the water because before we left, the SW tank's ammonia was at 0.25... do I did a 3gal WC and didnt test it after that)
So, first thing this morning, (ahem, afternoon... I woke up at 1:00 this morning) I tested everything...
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate:0
Nitrite: 0
Phosphates: 0
Ph: 7.8

So... everything was okey dokey

I took over 160 pics, and got lots of candles (I get a candle where ever I go...weird)

o0o I wanna go to an iron mine... hotels are cool too.. especially when the cleaning maid leaves her cart full of pillow mints out side :perv:
