Ok, so I put some old live rock from another tank, into my tank on sunday along with some cured live rock. I haven't done anything else to my tank like the shrimp, but this morning my girl and I woke up and WOW... What a horrible smell... I am assuming that the old live rock that is dead now is beginning to cured in my tank... Am I right or not... If so, should I just let it run it's course or take out the rock... Also there is a white haze all over the inside of my acyrlic... What is this?

If the rock from the other tank had started to (or completely) dried out, you did indeed cause the tank to cycle all over again. The smell is likely from the ammonia caused by the dead matter starting to decay.

If you have fish, corals, and/or inverts in your tank already, this process will cause them considerable stress (or kill them). If there are living critters in your tank, I'd remove the rock you added immediately and cure it in a bucket or large Rubbermaid container of saltwater. A powerhead to keep the water circulating is all it needs during this process. After that rock has cured (0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, measurable amount of nitrate), then it can be added directly back into your display tank. After removing that rock, I'd also do a water change to bring down the ammonia and/or nitrite levels in your display tank. If there's no fish / corals / inverts in your tank, I'd just leave it in there to cure.

Turbos REAK when they die.. Next to Latrine duty in the first Desert Storm, or working near a rendering plant its a close tie for either of these smells.

Tell me about it, the big 3" zebra turbo I had? Worst smell ever when it died.

I've had to suppress the urge to run from the house every time I've emptied my protein skimmer this week:yuck:
Somehow I didn't think fish crap to be sooooo stinky....
