Well, figured since everyone else was posting pix of there new pups, Id post one of my newest addition as well. I firmly believe that I am "the chosen one" when it comes to lost/abandoned pups in my area.
Story behind this pup is.. I was at work around 630 one morning in the main office sorting out parts in our storage room. I work on a hog farm that is very spread out and rather large in size. I heard what sounded like a puppy whine, I kinda ignored it to begin wth thought it was either the coyotes waking up with the sun, or my imagination. I continued to sort the parts...then i heard it again even louder. I stepped to the door and looked around. In the distance I spotted something moving and trying to get into one of our fences. I got in my vehicle to go inspect, not sure what I was going to find becasue of the coyote population on the farm. When I got to where the pup was, she greeted me like her long lost friend. I inspected her, loaded her up and took her back to the office with me where she spent the rest of the day. I shared my pop tart with her, and washed my ash tray out to give her water in it...lol. I did look around when i left work to see if i could find where she came from, however came up empty handed. So here she is........
She does have a mostly purple tongue, so that tells me she has chow in her...have tossed around the idea of her being mixed with coyote...other than that, really have no clue what she is mixed with.
First pic is right after her bath, second pic is not long after I brought her home, last pic is of her getting her first look at the cats..
