curing base rock with live rock?

:duh: well the title says it all....I put a piece of LR in with my base rock that I have been curing for like 3 weeks now..It was only ten bucks and was covered in tons of purple and green coraline will this help seed the base rock?

Yes, it absolutly will. You have to provide a source for the proper bacteria anyway along with coralines etc. \
