OK, well, i got a 20 that is all set up and almost ready for fish! I am going with a black and white and red theme, as far as decorations go (black gravel with a few red plants and bamboo and such, but nothing real. all plastic) I'd like white fish, black fish, and maybe a red fish or two, or at least fish with red on them. I want smaller fish. I'd rather have 5 neons than 1 pleco, if that makes sense.
I need easy keepers, as i'm a noob, and i'll be gone every weekend.
Also, the only pet stores i can get to are petco, petsmart, and walmart (le gasp!!!) as well as 2 local stores. One of them has a pretty good selection and is almost reasonable as far as prices go, and i've had good luck with their fish, i even sold some of my fry to them. However, it's an hour away. The other i don't care for. It's very expensive, and i've had bad luck with fish from there.
So, what would you put in this tank?
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Red could be neon tetras, or cardinal tetras. They are not totally red, but have a lot of red. White could be Albino corry catfish. I can't think of a totally black fish, although zebra danios have a lot of black to them. You could also get 1 betta, in either red, black, or white.

For one that's black and white, how about Harlequin Rasboras? I've seen them at Petsmart here, am looking forward to getting them for my own tank. Platties are another easy one that comes in red, white, and/or black. If you like cory cats, how about a few albino cory cats? These 3 are all around 2" and are peaceful community fish. If you would consider a non-fish, Cherry Red Shimp are cool.

Reds are available in swords or platties. Both fish also have a variation called a wag that is red with a black tail. These are very easy fish. Another black that is one of my personal favorites is the simple molly. Mollies vary between easy and medium to keep depending on your water and come in color variations of black, almost white "really silvery" and what are called marbled that are black and white in a sort of random pattern. A total of about 8 of these would start to be a full tank in my opinion for a 20.

How about some dalmation mollies and a red betta?

I was thinking I'd do some mollies. I saw a fish the other day, i'll try to find out what it was, but it was white and long and had red fins. I had just passed by the tank, though, i didnt get to check its name or any specs on it.
