I have a question about my female bettas, One of them has changed behaviour.

I have a 75litre freshwater tank and lost most of my fish to itch. I now have that under control, my two female bettas survived the itch as did my tetras. One of my bettas has taken to hiding all the time and when I do make her come out of the hiding hole she just lies around, this has been going on now for a couple of weeks, she doesn't seem sick and the other fish are behaving normally. The other betta tries to get her to move and then she will swim very quickly but hide again or lie on the bottom of the tank. Is this normal behaviour for bettas? Her behaviour has sure changed since the other fish died.

Have tested the tank water and all tests except PH were normal and PH was just a little high, I keep the tank at around 83 degrees. I had a chance to look at the betta properly today, she seems to have little movement in her back end, sometimes when she lies on the gravel her back is curled a bit and she doesn't seem to swim to the top of the tank anymore, I haven't seen her eating but she must be as she is not too thin, I feed them bloodworms every few days but she doesn't rush out to get them like the rest of the fish.

No I haven't noticed the bettas fighting but the sick on is certainly the most timid, the other one has always been the boss, but I didn't notice anything wrong until after I lost the other fish with itch, at first I thought she was sick with it too so kept on medicating but she is still the same so have stopped putting anything in the tank and just gone back to normal, I have done a water change and the tank environment is normal.

ich, not itch.

as long as your fish is eating then i would just wait it out.
