Ok I know...and before I say this I'm sure you would reach through the internet and smack me if you could, but........here we go agian, I was in Wal-Mart and well had to get gerbil food so you know I HAD to look just to see the fish and YEP, I came home with a female betta, now if any of you remember not to long ago I did the same thing and came home with a male. I am going to have to buy another tank unless I can work something out but I HAD to get her...she was beautiful and looked soooooo horrible in that cup (yes they all did and if I could I'd take them ALL) beleive me if I could have more than one/tank I would definatly be buying them. Anyway right now she is in my 29g that was suppose to be a DP tank, well ended up with only 1 and s/he is very small still, anyway there are 4 albino cory in there and 3 scissor tail rasboras. The scissor tails were in my 55 and had been with my african cichlids for about 6-8month now with now problems but last night I noticed one had the bottom part of his tail completly gone so I moved them into the 29 for now. Well this DP tank has now turned into a 29g tank with 1 DP, 4 albino cory, 3 scissor tail rasboras and now a female betta. the only other tank I have up and running is my 10g that my male and his snail live in beside the 55 african cichlid tank. Anyone see any possiblitys here with what I have or do I HAVE to buy another tank for someone??
Anyway here are some pics of my females new home and her! Once you see her I hope you understand, and I have decided I think I will just buy the gerbil food at the grocerie store or on line!! Oh one thing I thought of which I know I may as well not ask cause I'm sure I know the answer but what IF I took the dp and put him/her in the 10 and put the male in the 29...I know m/f are not good together but there are alot of hidding places and I could add more would they be safe like that??
