Anybody know how I can get rid of this....

I changed about 1/4 of the water on Sunday and it helped a little. Should I have changed more or what?

It's a 10 gallon tank

Sorry about the title, my orginal post I shouldnt have posted without reading some of the other threads....

http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3194
is a good thread on the setup process
http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5927
is a thread on setting up a fishless cycle.

Of course time will be the test. Water condition will determine the cycle time. Hard high pH water takes longer in my experience. I have never tried Bio-Spira or other bacteria starters, but then I have never lost a fish to cycling either (luck? or skill?)

If you want some ideas, this site has some cool biotope iseas if you are interested in that sort of thing. I just completed a South American Blackwater Stream and now have discus, rams, and tetras in my 55. http://www.mongabay.com/fish/biotope.htm

If it is a fairly new set up, that will happen. It will go away on its own in short order.
