Honda Accord Recall

Hi there, I was wondering if anybody in here knows about a recall on Honda Accord 97 models engine? The other day I took the car to the shop and a mechanic there told me that they had made a recall on 92 and up Honda Accord Engines, can anyone tell if that's true?

I know, i could be dead by now huh? It an used car. Just the other day I went to get the state(VA) inspection done and this man (older man) started talking to me, saying that they had recalled Honda Accord's engines.

I asked him if had been recently done, he said no, it's been years now. He said the same thing to a lady customer that was there with her Accord.


He said if I thought it to the dealer they would replace the engine with a brand new one. I said "Hey, that car sure could take a new engine"

After I posted here, I did a research and couldn't find no engine recall.

You should go to a dealership and find out for sure. If they lie to you and your car blows up, you get to sue.
