lifesize photo of a whale

Sure!...if you buy a baby whale and build a swimming pool...Surely the whale will only grow to the size of your swimming pool.

You have to use the inch per gallon rule. They grow to be about 40 feet long, which is 480 inches. So a 480 gallon tank is the smallest you would want. I would probably go with a 500 gallon tank just to be safe.

i am still cracking up from that man!!! ahhaha. dont forget to feed whale pellets few times daily to curb aggression towards other fish. avoid feeding feeder fish to prevent hole in the head.

that is cool!

grins, that reminds me of what the owner of that fish place in tonawanda said to me one time about the "whales" they sell, u know the oddball fish from africa related to the elephant noses. anyway, he said soem people came in and were asking him if they get to be the size of whale! like, they even asked iwhat kind of whale they got to be the size of! he tried to say they got their name from and such with no relationship at all witht he saltwater aniamls, but they didnt believe him! anyway, it reminded me of that story.
