Here are a couple pics of my new 55g I just got. It houses my two 6" Hybred Texas Cichlids, and my pair of FireMouths.

It had a funky blue abstract type background, i had to use a razor to get it off. Ill be putting a black background on it like my other tanks. As for more plant work i fully agree, im out of plants at the moment, ill pick some more up over the weekend and add em to the tank. im going to be getting rid the hybred texas' so i can make it a full FireMouth Community Tank, with 6 FireMouths.

So I am thinking of getting rid of the Hybred Texas' and making this tank a FireMouth only Tank with about 4-6 FireMotuhs. What do you think?

(sorry about the pics not showing imageshack.us systems are down right now)

The Hybred Texas Cichlids I had (sold them yesterday) were mixed with Male Green Texas and Female Red Blood Parrot, which gives some of the fry the orangish/redish look. Red Texas Cichlids are hybreds from Male Green Texas Cichlids and Female FlowerHorn, but some breeders use Reb Blood Parrots as a substitute.

Also this tank is a lot cleaner now that I have pulled the two main decor ornaments out and cleaned them to get the algae build up off. I will adding a lot more plant work to the tank in coming weeks, and adding a Pictus Cat to the tank, again once my FireMouth Fry are big enough, I'll be keeping the 4 brightest colored from them and putting them into this tank along with a small school of about 6 tetra's or white clouds, and 3-4 swordtails.

The 3" Jaguar Cichlid will be going to my Uncle's 200g tank when he gets it fully set up in the next 2 months.
