Word up kiddies.. Just got into this whole keeping fish in a glass case thing a few weeks ago... I just started to get my Fluval 404 working out in a 60 gallon tank; with 1 test fish. I was directed to this site by a co-worker who does fish-farming..
Be ready to ask any questions or problems I may run in to... Because I can promise you that I will run in to some..

Congrats on finally getting the tank up and running, I bet in a few months you'll be really glad you didn't turn it into a turtle tank lol
One of your first decisions is what kind of look do you want in your tank. Of course you'll change it up and what not over the years, but for a start, do you want ceramic ornaments (bridges, sunken ships, etc.. etc.) or will you go for a more natural look like my tank wtih driftwood, maybe some rocks, and easy level live plants?

Here's a link to 'liveaquaria'. They sell fish and corals and plants and what not, but they have expensive prices and paying shipping sucks. But the nice part is that they have profiles for the fish they sell and you can see the different categories. The fish they sell are for the most part common at the LFS's (Local Fish Stores) so if you see something you like, google the latin name to find out if it will work in your tank size etc.. etc..: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/categ.cfm?pcatid=830
