I got bored so I decided to make my own tank background. I found a wallpaper of a sunset, photochopped it onto a few sheets of 8.5 x 11, printed them, taped them together, then taped them onto cardboard i had taken off a sketch pad that just happened to fit the back of my tank. Finally I slid the cardboard in between my filter and the glass, I didn't have to put tape on my tank yay! It is bordering on tacky and cheesy but i like it. :)

Diggin your tank i normally only really like natural looking tanks but must say your tank looks nice

i like it!!!! much better than the ones you can get in the shops!!! i just have black backgrounds on my tanks at the moment but i might just try that myself!!!

Thats pretty cool. Open to some constructive critism? I think the driftwood is a bit big for the tank, it seems to be just taking up to much room and just like catching all the attention, instead of the fish. If you really like it of your fish like it, I would move it more off the the side, so its not right in the center.

I love it. There is nothing that says you must have a black background. I don't see black backgrounds in nature except at night when you can't see anything anyway. The fish don't care so put whatever you want back there and enjoy your tank the way YOU want it to be.

I prefer solid colored backgrounds, however, this tank is great! Very creative and well done. I agree that the scale is a little off on the driftwood, still it looks great. Thanks for posting!

I think your tank looks great! I really like the background and the decorations go quite well with it in my opinion =)

Very cool!
