Anyone use a BioCube 14 for freshwater?

I was recently able to pick up a BioCube14 from a LFS which is going out of business cheap. ($100) I am also going to try and get the mail in rebate for $35.
Does anyone here use the BioCube for freshwater fish? Any mods perfomed etc...
I did try to search, but all I found are marine links.

i would us e it for marine tank but thats just me
biocubes are made for marine but you could use it as a FW

There are a lot of biocubes at planted tanks.net.

I was thinking of buying a biocube anyway, can you post a link to the rebate. And what fish store is this? I'm sure somebody nearby would like to try to pick up some stuff.
