the spot is right behind his gills he has had it for a few weeks now and is has not gotten bigger or smaller. there also might be a spot on his tail but im not sure on that one any one know what it is or how to get rid of it. some times he brushes the spot on other fish or the glass but not any rock. other then that he swims fine and eats like a pig. so as much info as you can give me would be great. i know its hard with out good pics but i need a better camra. its only on the one side also. it took me 1/2hr to get that pic. i put a line around the bad spot. he doses seem more aggresive, sometimes

that means that he will need vitamins in his food and cleaner water. do some water changes and the spots will go away. also adding carbon will help to keep the water cleaner between the water changes and will keep the spots from appearing again. if all fails, Maracyn-Two.

if it isn't getting bigger or spreading and the fish is still behaving normal i wouldn't worry mate....it will probably disappear :)

Any chance you can get a clearer picture of the effected area? I believe it should certainly be checked out further...

I don't know what kind of camera you have, but I have a similar fish, my yellow tang.. As soon as I approach the tank she dives for cover. I have to sit about 3 or 4 feet away, perfectly still and hold the camera in an area where I know she comes out of the rock work at. Then I can get the pick. As soon as the flash goes off she dives for cover again..
I use a Kodak P850.
Hope that helps as a better picture would allow Niko and other more experienced people to help you.
