Well finally today is my birthday I turned 18, and I have been soo amazed today! My parents are not very accepting of my animal crazyness. We love all our animals and well I got my 10 gall a year ago and I had no clue what I was getting for my birthday, I didn't give any clues I didn't ask for anything. Well I got it out of my mom last night she was going to go today and look for a fish tank for me! She tried her best, and my mom just started a new job so she doesn't have alot of money! Okay so they come home and holy crap a 29 gallon fish tank! Soo excited! And then the best part... They asked me if the fish tank was big enough because they could always go back to the store and get a bigger one :eek3: :headbang2: Well I'm happy with the 29 gallon soo excited! I am kinda sad though it is a Pet Cetera tank which means ALL their equipment came with it. But I am soo excited anyways none the less. I can handle their filter for now. Eventually their systems will get replaced. Ohh and I spent most of my birthday money already. I spent 70 dollars today on new fish tank stuff I got taller plants new gravel and some rock, and some drift wood. I think I'm going to try and set the tank up this week, which means cleaning my room but soo worth it! :P My cat is very excited about all the boxes, she's already tried to steal several small things from the tank equip!
So I am very happy today my parents have accepting and in my eyes have encourage mts! lol :headbang2:
I'm so thankful because finding a tank on Craigslist has been very stressful! One guy wanted me to move his full 55gal tank with water plants,. gravel and fish in it! It was a great deal but I wasn't gonna be stupid and risk the tank breaking!
