I have a 10 gallon and this is what I want to put in it :

13 1" white clould mountain minnows
2 2" Otocinclus catfish
3 3" striped Kuhli loaches

will this be too over crowded? I know the 1 inch per gallon thing wouldnt work out the best....

thanks

I have a 10 gallon with 5 white clouds. They actually get close to 2" when grown. I wouldn't suggest adding much more than that as they like to swim a bit and 5 or 6 seems just about right. I also have 3 cory catfish that seem quite happy. If you dropped the number of white clouds down then the bottom feeders you have should be fine. Just keep checking those ammonia levels, add some live plants and make sure to drop some sinking tablets in as white clouds are very good at catching everything that slowly sinks.

how large are your cory cats?

The 2 big ones are 2.5" and the smaller one is about 2". The loaches are longer I believe but very slight, so they won't use as much bottom space. Just make sure there are little hiding spots as they like to hide during the day (from what I have read). You will love the white clouds, beautiful fish.

I already have the white clouds in my 30 gallon tank... I will probably break up the shoal and do 1/2 and 1/2 in each of the tanks. I know the sexes of them so I would try to do it proportionally.
