i have a pleco , it seems like he has been sucking on my blue snail's shell, then the other nigth it looks like he was actually trying to suck him out of the shell!!! is this normal for this type ?

What kind of pleco is it? There are many, many fish that eat snails--loaches and botias on top of the list.
