Weird disease on my favorite female yello lab!

Hanging near her anus are these 6 pea size nodules! :( She is otherwise healthy!

Has anyone have had this before? What should I do? Should I just cut them off? and hop e for the best!

Well, I'm definitely not a fish expert, but I'd say, cutting them off and taking your chances doesn't sound like a very good idea.

I'd try medicating before trying surgery! :)
Hopefully someone else has heard of such a disease. But I wouldn't start cutting on the fish.

I agree. I wouldn't advise any surgical procedures. I think the best thing to do is try to determine what the problem is and then medicate accordingly. If you have a quaratine tank I would suggest you move the fish into the q-tank after you have diagnosed the problem and treat the fish from there. Here's a link that may help.

Actually wihtout doing surgery. I held the female and touched the 6 nodgules. Four popped without any reaction to the fish. the last two popped overnight.

i am assuming that it was poop. She must hav ehad some digestive problems., will see how she progresses. :)
