This fish was living in the school aquarium. My sister took over the tank this year and the principal wanted more smaller fish. Right now he is living in a 55 gallon at my house. I have a 125 gallon that he could go into if he will get along with severums and silver dollars. Any ideas?

Yup looks like a flowerhorn. In that case it is going to require a minimum of a 75 gallon...to itself. It will kill your sevs and silver dollars. FH are extremely aggro and usually can not be kept with ANY other tankmates.

That is what I thought, but wasn't sure. Might have to do some moving fish around to get him the right size tank.
You cannot predict how a flowerhorn will behave with personalities ranging from total psychos to almost docile ones. Smaller fish will only end up as snacks.

Very true. I have a Trimac, which is one of the fish involved in creating the flowerhorn, and he gets pushed around by a synpilium about half his size.
Definitely invest in a good size tank...that will help with the aggression as well. Give him a lot of room and break up the tank with a lot of visual barriers.
