One of my co-workers told me about a method for treating plants before they are placed in the tank that I hadn't heard anywhere before. He treats them in a warm saltwater bath for 5 or 10 minutes, rinses and then puts them in the tank. This may be just a treatment against snails, since the topic of a snail infestation from Pet Smart was about 10 minutes earlier. Anyone else heard of this?
