Does anyone know where I can find out about aquarium trade shows in vancouver bc, canada?

Hey I'm just over on Vancouver Island, the nearest ones I hear about take place in Edmonton or Calgary. I'm surprised though because there are a lot of breeders in Vancouver...

where would i find a list of aquarium shows .... and what actually goes onat one ... can you purchase fish and so on ? im in florida and would love to goto one thanx
would be nice to know what's around.. would be nice if there was anything around... i've asked around a bunch of different aqua stores and no one knows of anything BC related... if anyone knows anything!!!!!!

There is a Vancouver Aquarist club. They have meetings and auctions several times through-out the year. I have never attended one yet. Check out thier website here (http://209.53.183.197/vahc/) for more details.
