Big Al's In The Philadelphia Area!

It could have been open for a hundred years but it's still news to me as I just found out today from a non-fish geek friend who works in the area.

I just wonder if their prices are as good in store as they are online.
 
now you too can have the excitment of paying way way too much for products, and having them shove BigAl's brand products down your throat.
 
NOW they tell me. If I had known that, I wouldn;t have wasted $150 ten days ago having my car towed while in another fish store in downtown Philly!
 
I'm with darksoul on this. I went there and not only don't they match the online prices, they charge more than PetsMart on most things. Disappointing. Nice fish room though. But Hidden Reef is infinitely better.
 
You should join the VIP program. They say that if you find a cheaper price at any retail store they'll beat it by 5%. I don't know if they actully do it, though.
 
By retail price meaning a land based store, or could it be online? Because if that were the case they'd have to match Big Al's online prices. They don't.
But PetSmart does. So What reason have I to go to Big Al's?
