I have been looking online for RO/DI units. Here is the best deal I have found so far. It is the $160 one on this page http://www.thefilterguys.biz/ro_di_systems.htm I am not asking anyone to do my looking for me, but if you happen to run across one that is better value for the money, please post it here.

I am a bit confused with the prices. For example, the one I am interested in shows $175 as the price, but down more on the page it has (Retail Price:US$930). So which is it? Or is the $930 just the suggested retail price? When you click to buy it, it shows the $175 price tag.

the UV is pretty much pointless with an RO unit, that being said, I purchased one seperatly to pre filter the water before it even gets to the first stage. why? because it can be possible for some bacteria or virus' to grow through the RO membrane.... if they are dead before they get there, they cant grow
why they would have it as the last stage is beyond me, as it is completely pointless by that time.
