Hey there coldies :D

What would you put with goldfish in a very large outside pond (I have not measured, it is not my pond, but it is by all accounts very large, say at least 6'x6'x6').

There are 6 - 8 goldies in there' what else would you do for a bit of variety ?

This is in Dublin so it will be cold during the winters (well...the summers too lol). The pond has a pump on it for circulation.

White cloud mountain minnows might be nice ? Anything else ?

That would be Gambusia species right ?

Thanks DD. Is there anything else that would go well ?

You could try shubunkins, they'll add a bit of color.... I'm not sure how they'll stand up to cold winters though, but I'm thinking they've got similar traits to goldies

ummm.... gambusia is cool but not what I was talking about. There is an orange fish, not a comet or the like) that is called a mosquito fish too..... let me look more for what I mean and I will get back to you.

Yes I think the mosquito fish is in the gambusia species - I dont know how they would do in 30d pond ; I think they prefer 65-75; but I imagine they could adjust.

Orfe are cool, koi are beautiful, rosy reds are nice, there are a few more types of fish for ponds that I don't remember at the moment.
