What do you do to "help" your cichlids along? Doing a water chnage and rearranging some rocks get mine "in the mood".

For my Firemouths I just take out 5% water daily until im down to 50% water level in the tank, let it sit for 3-4 days, then I just add new water to the tank. This simulates dry season to rain season to them and induces them to spawn right away. I done it 3 times in the last month and a half and they have spawn all three times ive done it. Now im letting them relax for 3 months, then ill do it again.

For Amazon fish a 2-5 degree temp drop, pH drop around .5, and some Blackwater Extract or peat.
Once I had a bunch of Corys cycled so well I knew the days they would spawn before it happened.
Cichlids are more temperamental.
