I have two cherry shrimp in a 2.5g fry tank. They are around 3 months old maybe? They might start my shrimp colony- I am hoping. All of a sudden today. My male cherry shrimp is swimming around like crazy! All over the tank and into the airstone. The female on the otherhand has been lounging on a rock cleaning her ovary sack thing. ( where the eggs are ) Now I just checked up on them. The male was on the female behind the ornaments. Now the female is still behind the ornament with the male. I heard males are suppose to be active when the female is going to be pregnant. Also it seemed like he molted while I was at school today. He doesn't seem as red.
