Feather duster

I just got a feather duster yesterday..
I set it on the sand, and he was doing OK... but this morning he came off of his tube, and the top of the tube looks like its pinched shut... the duster is OK... I moved it by the tube to see it if would do anything (lol) and now its in the rock, and I cant get it out...

Any ideas why it would come off the tube? And how to get it out of the rock?

he's probably repairing damage to his tube. The best thing you can do for him is leave him alone. Make sure that other fish critters aren't harrasing him either . A clear critter keeper or something like that will work wonders if that's part of what's going on. I'd just give him a little time and he'll probably come out of his shell for you. How did you introduce him by the way drip acclimation, adding a little water to the bag over an hour or so or what?

I set him in the tank in the bag for a while...
How do I get it out of the rock?

Well, I did get him out... will he grow another tube? he's tube-less :( lol

I really don't have much experience with one.. (As soon as i got one my peppermint shrimps ate it right up...)

Yes just leave it alone and it will grow another tube.
