9 month in and still finding new stuff. Can anyone id the white thing? Looks a bit like chewing gum stuck on the rock, then it kinda slithered off and hid. Not seen it before and not seen it since.

Been looking on here http://www.rzuser.uni-heidelberg.de/~bu6/index.html but can't seem to find a possitive match. Thought i'd post up the site cos seems quite good for id's.

The ridged plate like structures would have me guessing that its a Chiton species. Some are harmless herbivores, others are not.

I agree with Charles. It does seem to be some sort of chiton. I would observe it for any sort of aberrant activity. The scutes on the sides are interesting, maybe a key to a more definitive ID.
