Whats the sexual difference between the male and female Needle Nose. I got 8" long green ones.

And yes what will they eat at 8" length.

Does anyone have them. Please help out. I just bought two on 21 sept.
 
Do they eat grass hoppers!
 
Are Alligator gars and Short nose gars called needle nose gars or are they different. How big does needle nose get.

Alligator gar get 10 feet long, so I suggest against it.

Needle Nose Gar arn't true gar, there basically freshwater barricuda.

Shortnose gar are true gar, I suggest a shortnose gar or a florida gar.
