In the back is a buried pvc pipe for the yoyo and kuhli loach and to one side is a cave I made out of river rocks from the petstore.

Beautiful tank! I love the idea with the burried PVC pipe! I might to something like that except have in go in one way and come out another . I also see you have a pregnant guppy. Good luck with it

My yoyo loach lives in that pipe. LOL He comes out to feed and bully the cories but he stays in that pipe 85% of the time.
The pvc pipe I have in there is a straight piece with an elbow on each end. The elbows stick up out of the surface of the substrate like hatches. The back "hatch" is hidden by plants and rocks I just wish I had gotten black pipe to blend in with the eco-complete better.

If you look closely behind the plants you can see the two ends sticking up on the pipe here
