Hi, I have a lot of experience with fresh water fish, but my boyfriend and I are planning on purchasing a 100 gallon sw tank. We love medium sized colourful fish, but we're having a hard time deciding which fish we like the best and if they're compatible or not. Would anyone be able to give me an example of 8-10 colourful fish that would be compatible together?

Thank you!

Ashleymar: what kind of aquascape do you want to have in your 100? What kind of lighting, etc. Not that it matters for fish only...but if you are keeping corals in there to, then it does matter - or clams even. There are a number of ways you can go, while 100g sound big...there are fish that might not be larged but need a lot of room. Will this be a 100 long or tall (helps to determine swimming room)

Sorry to ask so many questions, but if your aquascape is LR and it will be fishonly then perhaps your aquascape will be more open island with lots of swimming room - or schooling. With that size tank a nice shoal of color would be great too!
