Should you routinely "fluff" up java moss? I'm not having much success with it right now. There is alot of brown with some green mixed in. Just curious if it needs to be fluffed to promote growth?

i vac mine when doing water changes...if its not firmly established to your driftwood/rock/whatever a bit gets siphoned off but mine is very green and grows like crazy.

bout a month now i believe. it's from the first batch of plants i got from ya mg. tank is a 29 w/ 65w light. lights are on for about 12 hours a day.
it might improve as i just recently upgraded the lighting.

Java moss is a plant that does not need a lot of light..it does very will in my tanks with just under 2 wpg.
I have to thin it or it takes over the tank in a few weeks.
how is the water flow..java moss does seem to do well with good flow.
I have it in over filter tanks .
the only it does not do well in is my 75 with 3 wpg.
