I've been trying to find an answer to this everywhere but haven't been able to find one. Can you use betta fix in a filtered tank or would it kill the bacteria in the filter? I've read the back and looked at the website, but they're all written under the assumption that the betta is kept in a bowl.

Thanks

Bettafix is derived from tea tree oil, a natural ingredient. My understanding is it does not harm the biological filteration.

It is used to treat damaged fins and wounds, as well as fungus problems. The makers recommend it for use with newly added fish , which may be stressed and have nipped fins.
Melafix, a similar product, is made of the same ingredient (melaleuca) but has a more concentrated dose which makes it a better deal.
