Lukee I never did anything special, just normal tank maintenance and water changes. I use tap water conditioned with NovAqua, my natural ph is 7.6, kept the tank around 80 degrees, used lots of natural rocks creating caves and crevices, they will move the gravel to suit themselves and spawn in the gravel. I had 100's of them. The first few times it's cute. After that it's overstocked:grinyes::grinyes::grinyes:. Good luck, They are cool fish. I hope your LFS takes your young brichardi's. Sexing.....the males will develop longer dorsal fins. It's quite noticeable. For a 15 gallon I wouldn't get more than 4 with the hopes of at least two of them pairing up.

Nothing special required usually. Lots of rockwork and small diameter gravel. If they don't spawn once they reach maturity try lowering the water temperature a few degrees for a few days, then raise the water temperature a few degrees above your normal setting. That should trigger them to spawn.
