I got a free tank (will be a seahorse tank)

I havent posted much... I know :grinyes:

Well, the lady who my grandpa is working for right now gave me a free 5gal tank... filter and hood!

So, I am setting it up in a few minutes... I have some play-sand from Lowes... maybe about 10 pounds of that

This is my seahorse tank... (I know what your saying inside your head!!)
I was going to use my 3gal and move the fry to the 10, but this works out better... and I have another tank :D

But really, I have been researching allllooootttt OMG
So, 3-4 pairs of dwarfs, some dead live rock (o..k..lol) and the sand

I cant wait :D :D
 
Sounds very cool! What are you planning on using for anchoring? Good luck with the fry, they breed like rabbits when happy and watching the birthing is amazing.
 
I thought seahorses need a very steady environment that a small tank can't accommodate?
 
Dwarf seahorses... only get about 1-2 in!
Well, after researching on the internet about play sand, it seemed to be OK... but, someone on saltwaterfish.com said NO! lol

So, nothings happened yet... Ill get some other sand :D
