Has anyone here tried to raise Amano shrimp?

Many people raise Amano shrimp. Not many people try to raise their fry. I would so get Amano shrimp as they are only $3 at my LFS, but since the fry don't grow up in freshwater, I don't raise them.

I started a topic a little further down this page about recently having some success in breeding these shrimp. It wasn't an entirely difficult process, once the parameters were figured out. It's tough trying to figure out what exactly is or isn't working though. There are so many variables.

It's pretty cool, I've been acclimating the shrimp to freshwater, and the first few days' catches have been transferred into my hatching tank so far. It's hard trying to spot them in there to see how they're doing, being so small and basically transparent. In theory, there's around twenty in the tank, but I'd be lucky to spot more than two at any given time.
