Will a ballast that says it can run a F32T8 or an F25T8 work on a F30T8 bulb? I tried the F30T8 bulb on a ballast for a F30T12 and it wouldn't light up. I thought that should have worked. :help:

I am not postive but if it is an electronic ballast I think it should work. Magentic ballasts are different and would probably not work.

Yeah, it's an electronic ballast that I have. I wired it up and it works just fine. The odd thing is that it costs half of what the ballast that Advance Transformer specs out for that bulb does and I believe that ballast is magnetic. Glad I experimented. Thanks for the reply too. :headbang2:
