oscars changing color

went to put a plastic plant in my tank today with my two new oscars, and my black tiger oscar started to get a lighter color. Anyone seen this before?

oscars change lighter when stressed or scared

It will retain its original color once it gets used to the plastic plant being around.

Oscars will change different shades when scarred or angry. Perfectly normal, they all do it.

This is very normal in many fish.
