A 20%-30% water change every week is the norm. I do a 25% water change on all my tanks every week. With a high bio-load (lots of fish) however then the water change amount will need to be higher. What are the three fish you have?

I prefer weekly changes, regardless of the nitrate levels, at least 25%.

has your tank cycled already? If so, weekly changes should be fine, I do mine about every 5 days (30%).

I always go with about a 25% change weekly, but will do it sooner if my water params are off.

Like everyone else say... 25%-30% weekly
But if you are still cycling you may need to be doing it daily depending on your water parameters..... You need to keep amonia and nitrites below .25ppm and nitrates below 30ppm ( I like to keep mine in the 10 to 15ppm range)

if you dont overstock your tank, you should be fine with 25% weekly.
