Could someone please direct me to the tropical fish compatibility chart? I've seen it in the forums somewhere, I've used the search feature but I can't seem to locate it.

Thanks in advance!

There are several out there on various sites, if you google for them.

But I have never seen one that is any where near reliable, since so many factors come into play.

I would recommend posting what you are considering and your tank size/current stocking, and seek advice from members on here.

I agree, the people here are great about sharing their experiences, and what will work and what might not.

There is one here... http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/fwcompatibility_chart.cfm.

But like Rb said, they are too "generic" and compatibility depends on more than just what type of fish they are (Species, numbers, tank setup, etc).

Compatibility charts are worthless, everyone Ive ever seen groups the fish. Take tetras for example, there are way to many different to say all are not compatable with cichlids.

Best bet is to compile a list of fish you like, use the "speicies data base" here on this site http://www.aquariacentral.com/species/ and develop your own compatibility chart, plus learn much more on the fish you are planning to keep. Yes this is much more work, but in the long run is more rewarding and accurate. Post any question here on gray areas that may arise.
