getting started

first I am using the hardware from my old saltwater reef tank.

is there anyone that cant give me a link or tell me a step by step procedure for starting a 90 gallon planted fresh water aquarium. I have a 300.00 buget. I have the tank, 400W MH light with a spider reflector and a 30 gallon sump.

I think I will have to downgrade my pump. It is a gen-x 6000. (6000) liters per hour. Maybe thats to much. I dont think I can turn the flow down low enough.

Maybe a ball valve or something?

any comments or feedback will be totally appreciated.

lighting looks good, you may need a co2 system with all that lighting though.

As far the pump is concerned, as long as the current isnt too much, you would be fine.
