Hi Everyone,

After posting "something is wrong" i am wondering if i should go back to regular water even though it is very hard.

What fish like hard water? Also, very hardy fish would be a bonus!
I have a 30g tall that is very well planted. Currently (if they survive) I've got 2 cories, 4 harlequin rasboras, 1 guppy and one lonely ember tetra.

Any recommendations would be great!

Tara

Many fish "like" hard water - it's the ones that are from naturally hard waters that tend to be less tolerant to metals/certain pollutants whereas putting softwater fish in hard wate environments is seldom a problem (unless breeding).

aftrican cichlids are an option, but not with the fish you have.

platies and swordtails "like" hard water. as long as the water is stable though, most fish will adapt to pretty much any water.

A lot of the larger rainbows like hard water.
