I am going to use a 10 gl tank for my refugium. I have decided to let gravity do the work for me by placing the refugium at mid-level along side the tank for show. I know that the turn over should be 10 gl. per hour(1x the tank size per hour). So how do I achieve this slow rate of flow? Do I need to get some control valves and place the on the hoses? Also, can I use the same kind of over flow box as with the wet dry(but smaller d.i.y version), in order to prevent flooding, or is there an easier way of doing this? If someone has pics or detailed designes, please let me know. I'd prefer not to have to drill the tank. Almost forgot, do I need to place petitions were the water flows into the refugium and the return to the sump are going to be?
Are the stick on thermometers as accurate as the glass floating?
Is coral rock Golf ball size ok to use in place of bioballs?
So many questions!!!!! Thanks
