This is my female con, who came in with a shipment of cons at work without a tail. I took pity on her and brought her home. She now resides in a 29 gallon tank the her hubby and lots of little cons. I don't know if she was born like this, or if she lost it some how but it doesn't seem to bug her at all and she gets around great without it.

It looks like she lost the tail. I've a fish born without tail, but not even not even a bit like that. And my fish learned to swim properly and with speed as young. I think you convict mastered all those skills when she was a juvenile.

Nevertheless, your convict is beautiful.

What's wrong with no tail? The fish can function and have fry. She is happy....that's all that matters...right :)

Heck...this convict has a hubby...what more can the fish ask for? :D
