I know this sounds really super dorky, but I was just wondering if you ever check on your fish at night or if bothering them at night is bad for them or anything. I'm such a night owl and still so excited/worried about my fish that I constantly want to go in and look at them and see how/what they're doing. Yep, super dorky, I know. :p:

I do some times. Although I would rather be asleep. I'm very curious to see if my pleco is hanging on the driftwood or if he is hanging behind the filter intake like he does normally during the day. When I check I try to keep it as dark as possible.

i do it every night,
when ever i wake up and go to the bathroom, i check on them,+ my tank light alway on at night, just dim,
nothing wrong with it,
and that'll show your fish that you care

I want to believe they think I care... but I think they just think I have food.
Same here! My tank is in my room and I spend alot of time in there and I can feed them and I come back ten minutes later and they're all at the top waiting for me and swimming in spastic circles because they can see me! It's like guys I just fed you!

Yep - I check up on mine at night before I head off to bed...

Light is off, but I have the light on in the hallway that lets just enough light through to see the corys (albino - show up nice and clear!)

I usually find the lil guys 'drag racing' backwards and forwards and having little cory races! Been a few times I've been a little delayed getting those zzzz's coz they been so much fun I've sat in the dark and watched 'em go!!

I love just sitting at night and washing my fish! Soo silly just sitting there and watching but it's so peaceful! I'd like to ad more to my tank some excitment. Been looking out for cories but havn't found any I'd be happy with well with the condition there in.
