I have a Discus species only tank. The tank is 75gal. I have 8 Discus. I was in the local pet store and did an impulse buy. I saw a very nice albino long finned tiger oscar in a display tank with regular oscars so I purchased him. He is about 2in long and at first it seemed it got along with my Discus, well after a week he keeps my full grown 8in Discus in the corner of the tank terrifed with black stress bars on them and all. I would like to know if this will pass or as soon as my oscar gets big enough he will kill my Discus. I could not find anything about oscars being compatible tankmates or not with Discus.

GET THAT OSCAR OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
....in a nutshell....
you really cannot mix oscars with most fish, and not discus....
discis communities can typicall have:
gbr
bristlenose plecos
clown plecos
cardinal tetras
corys
but certainly never ever oscars, way too agressive

Oscars do NOT belong with discus. Bring the oscar back or get a tank for it.
Contrary to popular belief, discus can live with any peaceful, non fin-nipping, community fish. Avoid algae eaters as they will graze on the discus' slime coat. Some have said that Otos will do this as well, but I haven't tried it to confirm either way. They do NOT require high temps unless you plan to breed them.
Oscar is a evil loner fish,
GET IT OUT NOW!!!!
and a school of neon tetra is the best with some cory
angels can be stay with discus, but the angelsmust be smaller than discus
