View Full Version : where to buy koi angelfish in Sacramento, CA?

I am new to the forum and new to tropical aquarium hobby. I currently have 4 gold marble angelfish and I want to get some high quality koi angelfish for the tank. I am not successful with buying fish online. I spent so much money for the fish, but they started to die off after a few days receiving them through UPS. Does anyone know where to buy good quality koi angelfish in Sacramento, CA?

Check aquabid.com or angelfish.net. You should be able to find someone in CA and even the Sacramento area that way. That way you can local pickup instead of having them delivered.

if you get them from the internet from a reputable angel breeder you should have few issues with the fish.
some breeders are actually trying for an all orange Koi.
the quality from these breeders is hands down excelletn and you will never find this quality at LFS.
as suggested you can try aquabid.
Have you tried O St Aquarium or Capitol Aquarium? I don't remember specific fish, but they both have large selections (I find O St. is less expensive and employees are more helpful).
