I have a 10 gallon heavily planted tank and have a DIY CO2 system hooked up and its a soda bottle thats 2 liters. I was thinking of adding another 2 liter soda bottle. Is that going to be too much CO2? This is the recipe im using. 2 cups of sugar, 1 teaspoon of yeast, and warm/hot water to the curve of the soda bottle and the recipe is for only one (1) soda bottle thats 2 liters.

It probably depends on how much of the CO2 is off gassing.

If I were you, I'd get a drop checker and see where your CO2 is currently. Ideal range is 15 to 20 ppm, with 30 being the highest you want. If you're below 15 ppm, adding a 2nd one would probably be fine. If you do add a 2nd one, I would definitely check the CO2 level again once they are both going.
