Would adding a larger powerhead to my SeaClone protien skimmer help it skim better? They come with maxi-jet powerheads, not sure what size is on mine. I have the SeaClone 100.
 
you could alway add a bigger one and use it on another modle down the road. or even use it for more circulation later on
 
The mj powerheads are modified to fit the skimmer, so you would have to buy one from the manufacturer or try to mod it yourself. I don't know if the impeller cover would fit the bigger powerhead or not.
